“We have had a brilliant time in both Bogota and Medellin – the tours were all really well organised and thought through and really fun too. We loved the day in the classic car – a great way to travel round the city in the sunshine and the tropical storm!
The driver of the classic car is such a character! Both May Lin and Maria were wonderful guides and showed us a lot. And so friendly, helpful and kind too. Matteo who drove us around in Medellin was also very friendly and knowledgable. Maria in particular was delightful and took it upon herself to try her best to fatten us up with cheese infused goodies!

We don’t know where to start… it has been absolutely amazing and far beyond our high expectations.
It’s impossible to say what experience or location/accommodation we liked most as all four have been so different but also so lovely/brilliant.
The cloud forest and the El Silencio was unbelievably beautiful (beyond jaw dropping at times). The Arenal volcano, its wildlife and activities, were great fun and the tented village another level of accommodation.
Tortuguero lodge was so relaxed & laid back and set in such stunning natural surroundings, it shared all its wonder with us including the turtle nesting and baby turtles hatching, unforgettable.
The Caribbean coast around Puerto Viejo has the most outstanding beaches and we have been so lucky to see sloths and monkeys up close at beach edge while bathed in stunning sunshine.
Every detail has worked like clockwork with simple transfers making the whole experience so easy. Every driver and guide and all the Costa Ricans we have met have been so lovely, friendly & welcoming and proud & informed about their country and its extraordinary wildlife and landscapes.
Thank you so much for the time put into planning our itinerary and booking so many details and activities that have been so memorable. We will happily recommend Linger & your services and Costa Rica as a destination to friends and family. I am sure we will return to Costa Rica in future and book further holidays thru you too.
“We had an amazing time and the itinerary worked brilliantly for us. We really enjoyed Delhi – especially exploring the spice markets and old city. A great intro to India and loved the Imperial hotel too. Jaipur and Jodhpur both fantastic cities – all of the experiences were brilliant including the observatory and flower/veg market. Again great hotels and guides. Onto the more rural part of the trip…. Mihir Garh was a beautiful hotel and we loved our time there. The village tour seeing the pottery was fun and the horse riding was one of the best experiences. Jawai – again an amazing place and one we loved. Definitely the right call to do leopards over tigers. To Ramathra Fort was amazing – stunning views, beautiful room, great food and the team there were brilliant. Then on to Agra – we were upgraded in the Oberoi to a balcony room overlooking the Taj Mahal and what a great experience and super hotel. And finally the driver – Vikram – was with us from Delhi to the train at Agra and was a star. Polite, helpful, always on time and safe. We had a wonderful time and loved it. We really felt as though we saw so much and the itinerary and hotels suited us perfectly.”

“Wow… the trip was off the Richter Scale. I don’t know how we will ever be able to top an experience like Ecuador, truly amazing! I speak for both of us when I say that every single experience was great, we wouldn’t have changed one piece of it. The hotels, food, guides, experiences were all unforgettable. We have some limitations in terms of how active we can be but there was always a perfectly acceptable option for us. “It was a fantastic holiday. Loved all the accommodation. With the Rock Suite at Rosyth and an upgrade at Jetwing I think we lucked out! Everyone at Rosyth were first class. The Eco mantra at Jetwing was interesting and good to see. Gal Oya undersells itself. It is really lovely and the staff great. They made a huge effort for Poppy’s birthday. Just the right time at Passakuda. All the guides were great and knowledgeable. Ashan even though he was only there for our Bible Walk was passionate about what he does. He and his assistants bought all sorts of Sri Lankan foods and drinks for us to try! Cooray looked after us very well. Provided us with various drinks and ice cream at critical points! He did well with some long tiring drives. He doesn’t take any prisoners so we usually found ourselves at the front of the queue!”
“Linger organised a 28 day self-drive trip for myself and my husband in Ecuador. The first week was amazing and went exactly as planned but then I had an accident (unrelated to LiNGER!) and broke my femur. The performance of Linger and their agents in Ecuador went from excellent to outstanding.
